John H. Brinsley received the Shattuck-Price Memorial Award in 2001, the Los Angeles County Bar Association's highest honor. Recent cases include the Edison SmartConnect™ application, in which Janet successfully represented SCE in obtaining authority to install state-of-the-art “smart” meters in approximately 5.3 million households and small businesses through its service territory -- a $1.3 billion capital investment for the company. Janet also currently serves on the Edison Law Department’s Pro Bono Committee, and has represented pro bono clients in the areas of disability rights, employment rights, tenant rights, and adoptions.
